Tango is often taught as a collection of figures. But in reality, every movement in tango is built from a small set of simple elements: steps, pivots, weight changes, and direction.

In this workshop, Marcelo “El Chino” Gutiérrez reveals how tango structures actually work. By understanding how these fundamental elements combine, dancers begin to see how many familiar figures naturally emerge from the same underlying mechanics.

Instead of memorizing patterns, you will learn to recognize the structure behind movement - opening the door to real improvisation.

Why you need it
Many dancers feel trapped in sequences they have memorized in class.

Understanding the structure of movement allows you to:
-improvise with confidence
-create variations naturally
-adapt movements to any musical moment
-understand what you are dancing instead of copying shapes

This workshop changes how you think about tango.
