Car Drives Head-On Into Guardrail In Medford
Fire officials said they needed the jaws of life to free the car from the guardrail on I-93.

MEDFORD, MA – A driver escaped injury after crashing into a guardrail in Medford Sunday night, according to the fire department. The car drove head-on into the guardrail separating the Exit 33 off-ramp from the highway on I-93 South.
Fire officials said the guardrail was so heavily entangled with the car that firefighters had to use the jaws of life to free it.
"Miraculously the driver walked away from the wreck without any injuries," the Medford Fire Department said in a statement.

The driver of the vehicle struck (head on) the guardrail separating the off ramp from the highway. Miraculously the driver walked away from the wreck without any injuries. The guardrail was so heavily entangled with the car that firefighters needed the “jaws of life” to cut it away.
