Baker College, the nation's leading career college, invites interested individuals for evening 6 p.m. session.

Boston-area students seeking education and training for jobs in growing career fields can explore the options offered by Michigan’s Baker College at an event being held close to home.
Representatives from the nation’s leading career college have invited interested students and their supporters – family members, significant others and friends – to a Baker College information session that begins at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 15, in Dedham, Massachusetts.
“Baker College continually assesses its career programs to ensure they offer the skill training and education necessary to meet employers’ needs and that there is employer demand for graduates,” said Wen Hemingway, Baker College of Flint president. “The result is that an impressive 97 percent of our available graduates are employed.”

Baker College grants certificates and associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in more than 150 programs across diverse academic fields, including business, health sciences, engineering, information technology, education and human services.
Examples of the nationally and regionally distinctive programs offered by Baker College are degrees in photonics and laser technology and in orthotic/prosthetic technology. Only a handful of colleges in the nation offer training for positions in these fields where the demand for skilled employees continually outpaces talent available. Hemingway noted that these are rewarding jobs that pay well.
