Dozens of Disabled Children Partake in 9th Medford Challenger Day
The special day featured a one-inning baseball game in which about 75 children played in.

Many children with physical and mental disabilities came together Sunday to partake in the ninth annual Medford Challenger Day. The special day featured a one-inning baseball game in which about 75 children played in.
Challenger Day is part of the Medford Invitational Tournament. The Challenger Division offers children who may not ever get a chance to play baseball an opportunity to do so.
Boston Red Sox mascot Wally attended the event. He was joined by several town officials at the event.
