I-93 Carpool Lane Opening To All Traffic Next Week
A section of the HOV lane on I-93 South will open to all traffic due to construction on Route 1 and the Tobin Bridge.
MEDFORD, MA — The carpool lane on I-93 South between Medford and the Zakim Bridge will be open to all traffic starting Monday, according to MassDOT. The HOV lane is opening due to construction on Route 1 and the Tobin Bridge.
This will be an express lane that will not have access to Exits 26 or 28, according to MassDOT spokesperson Patrick Marvin.
News —> beginning Monday, the carpool lane on I-93 southbound between Medford and the Zakim Bridge will be open to ALL traffic due to @MassDOT construction work on Route 1/the Tobin Bridge. This will be an an express lane as this lane will not have acces to Exit 28 or 26.
