I-93 Lane Closures Announced In Medford

MEDFORD, MA — Overnight lane closures are coming to I-93 North in Medford, according to MassDOT. Closures will start Sept. 18 and run nightly from 8 p.m.-5 a.m. in the area of Exit 33.

Road crews will be installing highway light fixtures over the next few months. Traffic control measures such as signs, police details and message boards will be in place.

Drivers are advised to expect delays and make appropriate decisions on route and timing of travel. The schedule for this work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.

This project costs approximately $14.7 million and is currently scheduled to be completed in spring 2021.
