Italian Eatery Coming to Medford Square

An new Italian restaurant will open its doors in Medford Square come September, Eater.com reports.

Italia di Gusto, which is set to open on 24 High Street, will feature an array of imported cheese and meats. Diners should expect top-notch pastas, coffees and olive oil. And of course, pizza will be cooked up.

According to the restaurant’s website, Italian products with only the “most genuine taste” will be served to customers in Medford. Medford marks just the second U.S. location for the restaurant. Italio di Gusto boasts the “best Italian parmigiano, the best jam and marmalade, the best olive oil.”

“It’s like coming to Italy if you enter into this shop,” a restaurant representative told InsideMedford.

The restaurant will overlook the Mystic River.
