Jingle Bell 5K To Impact Medford Square Traffic: Police

Here's what you need to know about Sunday's event.

MEDFORD, MA – Medford's Jingle Bell Walk/Run 5K will be held Sunday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. The race will begin and end at the Krystle Campbell Memorial Park at 101 Riverside Ave.

The route takes runners along Riverside Avenue through Medford Square, looping back around Clippership Drive to Riverside Avenue. It then continues down Riverside Avenue toward Freedom Way, making a loop in the school compound before returning back to Riverside Avenue and finishing at the Senior Center.

Side streets along Riverside Avenue will be blocked for the duration of the race, from about 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to police. Portions of Riverside Avenue and Medford Square will be closed to vehicular traffic as well.
