MA Chapter F.C.A.A. (Foster Care Alumni of America) Seeking Foster youth/18+(Alumni) & Allies
The growing national social movement of alumni and our allies joining together to improve foster care and the lives of people who share the foster care experience.
The vision of the Massachusetts Chapter of Foster Care Alumni of America is to equip alumni with the tools necessary to realize their dreams and to encourage, inspire, and support youth in care to be tomorrow's leaders; secure in themselves and the world around them.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Massachusetts Chapter of Foster Care Alumni of America is to make the greatest impact possible for alumni by forging new pathways to opportunity through education, advocacy and access to resources.
We advocate for public policy changes that improve the lives of alumni and give hope to children in the foster care system now. We educate policy makers, community groups, faith based and civic organizations, media outlets and academic institutions about our lives, our experience and the critical need for our voice to be heard. We create a community for ourselves and our allies. We hold an annual picnic, attend concerts, poetry slams, support groups, cookouts, holiday parties, support artists and writers focused on our issues and do whatever else our members want to do as a chapter
