Medford Eversource Closure To Impact School Bus Routes

MEDFORD, MA — Eversource will close South Street on Thursday, Nov. 21. This will impact school bus Routes 12 and 13 at Maple and South, according to the city.

Students will board the bus and be dropped off at Winthrop and South. Families should expect delays.

Bus routes using Winthrop will use Route 16 to get to middle and elementary schools.

Residents of South Street, Touro Avenue, Curtis Street, Manning Street and Maple Avenue should put their trash out by 6 a.m. Waste Management will start collecting trash at 6 a.m. so it will be done before the 7 a.m. closure.

Yard waste will be picked up the next day.
