Medford to Explore Ways to Create Green Streets, Healthier Rivers
Residents are invited to attend a community meeting known as "Greening Medford to Improve the River" on August 26.
The Mystic River Watershed Association and the City of Medford are inviting residents to a community meeting, “Greening Medford to Improve the River,” on Wednesday, August 26 at 6:00 p.m.
Officials hope to inform residents about green infrastructure, such as rain gardens. They also hope to use the community’s knowledge to help locate rain gardens in area neighborhoods.
Possible ways to create green streets and a healthier Mystic and Malden River will also be discussed.

The meeting will be held at the Andrews Middle School, 3000 Mystic Valley Pkwy, Medford.
