Medford Grand Jury Indictments: 6 Cases Announced

MEDFORD, MA – Six cases with ties to Medford are among the latest round of indictments in Middlesex County. District Attorney Marian Ryan on Monday announced indictments handed down between Nov. 21 and Jan. 16. All cases are alleged to have occurred in Medford or involve Medford residents.

Medford

Gail Blanchard, 42, of Quincy, was charged with distribution of a Class B substance, subsequent offense, conspiracy to violate the drug laws, and attempting to commit a crime. The Assistant District Attorney is Matthew Bailey.

James Frederick, 57, of Medford, was charged with arson of a dwelling. The Assistant District Attorney is Kristen Noto.

Michael Kelley, 26, of Quincy, was charged with conspiracy to violate the drug laws. The Assistant District Attorney is Matthew Bailey.

William Reardon, 57, of Quincy, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender, subsequent offense. The Assistant District Attorney is Caitlin Gemmill.

Somerville

Derrik Pannesi, 23, of Medford, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a large capacity weapon (2 counts), possession of a firearm without a license, improper storage of a firearm where a person under the age of 18 has access, and being an armed career criminal (3 counts). The Assistant District Attorney is Radu Brestyan.

Everett

Anthony Machado, 44, of Medford, was charged with arson and burning personal property. The Assistant District Attorney is Carrie Spiros.
