Medford Last Day Of School Earlier Than Scheduled

MEDFORD, MA – Good news, students – the Medford school year will end earlier than scheduled this year due to the built-in number of snow days. The district on Monday announced the new last day of school will be Wednesday, June 20. Middle and high school students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. and elementary school students will be dismissed at noon.

That's two days earlier than the last scheduled day of school, which included seven snow days. There were five snow days in Medford this past school year.

Teachers will return to school Monday, Aug. 27 for the 2018-19 year. The first day of school for students is Tuesday, Aug. 28.
