Medford Man Allegedly Stabs 2 Outside Central Square Restaurant

A 32-year-old Medford man allegedly stabbed two men outside of Moksa restaurant in Cambridge’s Central Square early Saturday morning.

Abdias Aime, of 48 Hancock Ave., was arrested and charged with affray and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to Cambridge Police.

Police responded to the restaurant, at 450 Mass. Ave. in Cambridge, at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday. Once there, police spotted two men fighting, surrounded by a crowd of 80-100 bystanders.

After police broke up the fight and dispersed the crowd, another fight involving three men started. In this fight, Aime allegedly stabbed one of the men in the back multiple times and the other man suffered a laceration to one of his hands.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police believe the stabbing was the result of an altercation between the men and was not a random act.
