Medford Feels Wrath Of Storm

MEDFORD, MA — More than 1,300 without power and at least one big tree in Medford was downed in the storm late Sunday night into early Monday morning. One Patch reader reports a maple toppled on Yeomans Ave near Emerald Street. Power was out in the area.

There were 1,305 without power in Medford at 1:30 a.m., according to National Grid.

More than 100,000 in Massachusetts were without power early Monday morning. Downed trees and power lines were prevalent across the state.
