Medford OUI Highway Crash Among 9 Grand Jury Indictments
Nine indictments with ties to Medford were announced by the Middlesex DA's office Wednesday.

MEDFORD, MA — The man who is accused of drunkenly driving into a highway crew member on I-93 last year, killing the victim, is among nine grand jury indictments with Medford ties announced Wednesday by the Middlesex DA's office.
James Scoville, 33, of Chelmsford, was charged with motor vehicle homicide and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol causing serious bodily injury. He fatally struck 52-year-old Thomas O'Day in the early-morning hours and injured another worker, prosecutors said. His blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.
Also, five from surrounding towns were charged with conspiracy - and one with being a habitual offender. Police did not want to divulge information on this case as it is still playing out.

Those indicted were:
- Sean Grey, 37, of Burlington, was charged with conspiracy.
- Dee Johnson, 34, of Somerville, was charged with conspiracy.
- Donald Johnson, 41, of Somerville, was charged with conspiracy and being a habitual offender.
- Miguel Lugo, 33, of Chelsea, was charged with conspiracy.
- Jennifer Moreira, 39, of Wakefield, was charged with conspiracy.
In a separate case, Shaquille Rivers, 23, of Lynn was charged with larceny over $250 (2 counts), unarmed burglary (2 counts), and attempting to commit a crime.

In another case, Leonardo Silva, 18, of Everett, was charged with rape of a child by force.
A Medford man was charged related to a crime in Cambridge. Moise Raphael, 23, was charged with unarmed burglary, larceny in a building, receiving a stolen motor vehicle, receiving stolen goods, and attempting to commit a crime.
