Medford Police Officers Save Infant Twins From Fire
A mother and her infant twins were trapped on the second floor of their Main Street home.

Two Medford Police saved a mother and her infant twins from a house fire on Main Street on Monday, reports WCVB Boston.
The main street fire was one of two fires that occurred in Medford on Monday morning. The first fire was reported at Bertucci’s located at 4054 Mystic Valley Parkway.

When officers Paul Giordiano and Sheila Quinn arrived at the Main Street home on Monday, a neighbor yelled that there were twin infants on the second floor. The officers entered the home and rescued the babies and their mother. Two dogs were also rescued from the fire. One firefighter was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
“I ran upstairs to the second floor. A female handed me two infants, there was smoke coming from the upstairs apartment, ran downstairs,” Giordiano told WCVB Boston.

The blaze ignited in the basement of the house.
