Police soon located the car at the intersection of Walden Street and Route 2 (the Concord Turnpike) in Concord, about a mile from the store. The driver, believed to be Pinion, fled from police, and the pursuit went around town, ending on a cul-de-sac on Baker Avenue about three miles away, according to police.
Felts was immediately taken into custody, while Pinion fled on foot, police said. Police, with a Massachusetts State Police K9, located Pinion hiding a short distance away. Pinion was briefly hospitalized for a dog bite, police said.
