Medford Woman Wins $1M Lottery Prize

MEDFORD, MA — A Medford woman recently won $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery's "Monopoly Jackpot" instant game. Flora Halperson elected to receive a one-time cash payment of $650,000.

Halperson bought her winning ticket at Kristina Market on Riverside Avenue. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.

One $4 million prize and two additional $1 million prizes are still available in the "Monopoly Jackpot" $10 instant game.
