WESTON, MA – Medford resident Michael Young won the Kenneth F. Benjamin Citizenship Award during The Rivers School’s Prize Day ceremony on Thursday, June 12.
The Benjamin Citizenship Award, given in memory of a member of Rivers' class of 1950 who was a Rivers parent, grandparent and Life Trustee, is awarded to those students in Grade 9 who, like Mr. Benjamin, lead by example, give selflessly to others, and embody The Rivers School's Core Values of integrity and perseverance. Young is the son of Kevin and Gail Young.
