New Community Group Hosting 'Cash Mob' at Bestsellers Saturday
The group wants to support the local bookstore in its final days.

The Medford Community Coalition is hosting a “Cash Mob” at Bestsellers Cafe Saturday morning, Jan. 24.
The “Cash Mob” will start at 9 a.m. at the Medford Square bookstore at 24 High St. and is meant to support the local bookstore’s owners, Rob and Marianne Dilman, who have announced they’re closing up shop at the end of the month, according to the group.

Bestsellers is having major clear-out sales.
In addition to the “Cash Mob,” Congresswoman Katherine Clark will be the bookstore from 10-11:30 a.m.

The Medford Community Coalition, which formed earlier this month, is “aiming to revitalize and activate the downtown area by keeping and attracting diverse and interesting businesses.” For more on the group, visit its Facebook page.
