NY Man Charged With Bank Robberies In Medford, Revere
David Hattersly, 45, will face a federal charge of armed robbery.

MEDFORD, MA — A man arrested Monday after robbing a Bank of America in Revere is the suspect in a robbery in Medford last week, police said. David Hattersly, 45, of New York, robbed East Cambridge Savings Bank on Thursday, Aug. 15, according to police.
Hattersly will face a federal charge of armed robbery. A female accomplice was taken into custody in Revere, but she has not been charged, police said. Police are investigating her involvement in that case and the robbery in Medford.
In both robberies, Hattersly had an Uber waiting for him to flee the scene, according to police. The woman who was with Hattersly told officers she knew nothing about the robberies and was already in the Uber when he robbed East Cambridge Savings Bank, police said.

Hattersly was wanted for a federal probation violation, and the FBI NY Field Office alerted authorities in Massachusetts that he was the man in the photos from the Medford robbery, police said. Investigators were preparing surveillance on addresses in Medford connected to the woman in the photos when Hattersly robbed the Bank of America in Revere, police said.
The woman is not wanted by the FBI.
