Photo Gallery: Bowler, Lee Win as Medford Girls Tennis Beats Malden

The Medford High girls tennis team beat Malden, 4-1 on Thursday.

The Medford High girls tennis team won a big GBL match against Malden on Thursday, beating to the Goleden Tornadoes, 4-1, at Dugger Park in Medford. 

Malden's lone win came at the first singles spot, where Lisa Delacey beat Medford's Emily Nixon  6-0, 6-4. 

Medford's Katie Bowler beat Natalie Fallano at second singles 6-2, 6-2 and at third singles, Bailey Lee beat Malden's Wendy Tse in a hard-fought match 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

At first doubles Stephanie Ngyen and Jen Uang beat Alison Nguyen and Danielle Ton, 7-5, 6-3 and at second doubles Michelle Ngyen and Diana Hein won 4-6, 6-2, 6-4, over Malden's Vivian and Christine Le. 

Up next for Medford is a Monday morning match at Matignon at 11 a.m.
