Officials and community members gathered at the St. Raphael Parish Center for the sixth annual event.

MEDFORD, MA – The city of Medford held its sixth annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Community-wide Celebration on Monday, Jan. 15 at the St. Raphael Parish Center. The event was co-sponsored by the Mystic Valley NAACP, Medford Human Rights Commission, Medford Office of Diversity, Medford Interfaith Clergy Association and Mayor Stephanie M. Burke.

Officials and community leaders celebrated the iconic civil rights leader's legacy and capped the celebration with an opportunity to sign up to serve alongside local social justice groups.

The event ran from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
