Rumored Affair Led To Kidnapping At Medford Business: PD
The suspects believed the victim, an employee of Nu-Way Cleaners, was having an affair with the owner.

MEDFORD, MA — Three members of a family that owns a local dry cleaning business are accused of kidnapping and torturing an employee over several hours in June.
Misook Cho, 54 and her son, 28-year-old Jisang Park, were charged with kidnapping, assault and other offenses. Cho's daughter, 25-year-old Jisoo Park, faces charges of assault, larceny and making threats. Cho is married to the owner of Nu-Way Cleaners on High Street. She believed her husband was having an affair with the victim, which the victim denied, according to police records cited by the Medford Transcript.
The woman was held against her will and "beat up repeatedly" over the course of several hours on June 24, according to police records. She was released and went to a hospital in another city, which referred the case to Medford police.

All three suspects were deemed dangerous in June. Cho is being held without bail and the Park siblings have been released with conditions.
