Students Participate In NAACP "Statistic" PSA
Medford High School students and staff combat ugly stereotypes.

Considering the highly publicized and questionable deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown, the courts’ failure to indite the police officers responsible, widespread news of similar cases, and the ensuing protests, I doubt anyone remembers 2014 as a utopian year for race relations in the U.S.
In an effort to make future years less upsetting, the NAACP recruited a handful of Medford High School students and faculty to help create the following PSA, which addresses certain mass media narratives about black men in America - particularly what the statistics tell us.
