What's Open, Closed In Medford On Christmas Day

We have everything you need to know, including the trash pick-up schedule for the holiday week.

MEDFORD, MA – Medford City Hall will be closed Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25. It will be open during normal business hours on Monday, Dec. 31 and closed on Tuesday, Jan. 1.

Christmas and New Year's Day (both Tuesdays) will have delayed trash collections. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve (Mondays) will be on a regular pickup schedule.

Christmas tree removal will take place the week of Jan. 7 on your regular trash day.

    • Christmas Eve: Most stores typically close a few hours early
    • Christmas Day: Closed
  • Trader Joe's
    • Christmas Eve: All stores close at 6 p.m.
    • Christmas Day: Closed
  • Whole Foods
    • Christmas Eve: All stores will have limited hours. Hours vary by location.
    • Christmas Day: Closed.
  • Wegmans
    • Christmas Eve: Stores will close at 6 p.m.
