A fire broke out after an explosion at a Nut Island treatment plant in Quincy Monday afternoon, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Five people sustained minor injuries, according to police. The fire was brought under control just before 3 p.m.

Man Who Shot At Plow Arraigned
A man who shot at a Plymouth plow driver at a road rage incident Saturday during the height of Winter Storm Jonas was arraigned Monday.
Bruce O’Brien, 60, of Whitman, shot at the plow driver on Rocky Hill Road at about 7 p.m. during blizzard conditions, police said. He was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, carrying a gun while intoxicated, and firing a gun within 500 feet of a building.

Attorney Guilty In Million-Dollar Scam
Following a two-week trial, an Andover attorney was convicted Monday of laundering more than $1 million in fraudulently-obtained IRS refund checks through several different bank accounts, including the attorney’s trust accounts.
