*Zamir Chorale of Boston is pleased to share its weekly musical message of inspiration to help raise your spirits during Passover. This week’s virtual concert features Zamir singing Nowakowsky’s “Adonoy Zekhoronu” recorded live at Temple Beth Elohim on November 7, 2017. Enjoy this concert right now here. *Newton Nomadic Theater will host a free, live-streamed production of “Love Letters” featuring Paula Plum and Richard Snee, two of Boston’s most renowned actors, on Saturday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m. on the Nomad’s Facebook page. “Love Letters” tells the tale of two entire lives—from childhood through all of the twists and turns of adulthood—and has been called “a deceptively simple and quietly moving play” by the New York Times. *Newton Theatre Company is now streaming free theater that you can enjoy while social distancing. Currently, they are featuring their own production of Madeline Miller's “The Song of Achilles: Troy” from 2014. This visually stunning production follows the events of The Iliad as seen by Patroclus, Achilles' companion. This production was one of Newton Theatre Company’s first encounters with Greek tragic theater, which sparked their tradition of presenting Greek tragedy outside every summer. *Crowes Pasture, “a roots-infused, contemporary folk duo,” from Newton will be performing a live, 30-minute show of fan-selected favorites on their Facebook page on Saturday, April 11, at 8:30 p.m. Monique Byrne and Andy Rogovin of Crowes Pasture are also founding directors of the Newton Family Singers. Tune in on Saturday and make sure to comment so that they know you're there!

*Newton Free Library presents Teen Zoom Poetry on Monday, April 13, at 7:00 p.m. Write your physical distancing blues away with Newton Free Library’s Teen Zoom Poetry Group with James & Jean. During this time, you’ll be writing poems based on fun prompts; have your keyboards, pencils, and paper handy! Registration is required to receive the Zoom link for this event. Click here.
