Hathorne Street Family Displaced After Saturday House Fire: Report

The fire was fueled by outdoor propane tanks, according to officials.

SALEM, MA — A house fire on Saturday in Salem has displaced a Hathorne Street family, reports the Salem News.

The Salem Firefighters Local 172 reported that it responded to a two-alarm fire on Hathorne Street and encountered heavy conditions Early Saturday morning. The Salem News reports that the fire was fueled by outdoor propane cylinders, but that the cause of the fire was still investigation.

The residents of 70 Hathorne Street were displaced, according to the report.
