SHREWSBURY, MA — Residents in Shrewsbury are being encouraged to roll up their sleeves and help keep the community looking its best during the town’s annual clean-up event this weekend.
The Townwide Clean-Up is set for Saturday, Apr. 18, with volunteers invited to gather family, friends, neighbors or local groups to pick up litter and beautify shared spaces across town. Organizers say the effort not only improves the town’s appearance but also helps build a stronger sense of community pride.
Volunteers are asked to sign up in advance to select a cleanup location at this Google Form. They’ll collect trash and debris and place it into designated town bags, and then town staff will collect the bags after the event ends at 12 p.m.
