5 Somerville Arrests Last Week: OUI, Assault On Officer

SOMERVILLE, MA – The following are excerpts from the Somerville police log from Nov. 5-9. An arrest does not imply a conviction. Click this link to find out how to get a name removed from a Massachusetts Patch police report.

Monday, Nov. 5

• Henry Alvarez, 21, of Somerville, was arrested at 11:47 p.m. and charged with carrying a firearm with ammunition, trespassing and resisting arrest.

Wednesday, Nov. 7

• James Murphy, 33, of Charlestown, was arrested at 4:07 a.m. and charged with violation of community ordinance possession of dangerous weapons, breaking and entering nighttime for a felony and possession of a burglarious instrument.

Thursday, Nov. 8

• Cayce Harper, 28, of Pikeville, TN, was arrested at 11:29 p.m. and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

• Zachary Bates, 25, of Reading, was arrested at 11:04 p.m. and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and larceny from a building/stealing.

Friday, Nov. 9

• Tameka Kelly, 32, of Somerville, was arrested at 3:33 p.m. on Boston warrant charges of number plate violation to conceal ID, uninsured motor vehicle or trailer and unregistered motor vehicle; a Somerville warrant charge of larceny over $1,200; and a Woburn warrant charge of juror failed to attend.
