7 Somerville Arrests Last Week: Resisting Arrest, Shoplifting

Monday, Jan. 28
• Esteban Hayes, 29, was arrested at 2:53 p.m. and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise and resisting arrest. He also faces Brockton warrant charges of assault, assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, malicious destruction of property over $1,200 and larceny from a person.

• Rosaleen Lopes, 32, of Dorchester, was arrested at 2:53 p.m. on New Bedford warrant charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Tuesday, Jan. 29

• Patrick Rakes, 27, of Holbrook, was arrested at 8:47 a.m. on a Cambridge warrant charge of shoplifting by asportation and Boston warrant charge of possession of a Class A drug, breaking and entering for a misdemeanor and receiving stolen property under $1,200.
Wednesday, Jan. 30
• John Aceto, 50, of Somerville, was arrested at 9:09 p.m. on a Somerville warrant charge of shoplifting by asportation.
Thursday, Jan. 31
• Jose Guillen, 30, was arrested at 9:26 a.m. and charged with violation of open container law, miscellaneous municipal ordinance/bylaw violation and interference with police officer. He also faces a Boston warrant charge of disorderly conduct.
• Jose Posada Landaverde, 45, of Somerville, was arrested at 9:26 a.m. and charged with violation of open container law, miscellaneous municipal ordinance/bylaw violation and interference with police officer.
• Jonathan Caballero, 29, of Boston, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. and charged with shoplifting by asportation (third offense). He also faces a Belmont warrant charge of receiving stolen motor vehicle and Boston warrant charges of shoplifting by asportation, assault and battery, disorderly conduct, threatening to commit a crime, trespassing and shoplifting by concealing merchandise.
