Break-In Reported Near Tufts University Campus

SOMERVILLE, MA – Police are investigating a break-in Sunday night at a house on College Avenue. The residents, Tufts University students, told police they were at a neighbor's house from 6-8 p.m. and returned to find items missing.

The thief entered the home through an unlocked door, according to police. Officers from Tufts and the Somerville Police Department searched the area but did not find a suspect.

Both departments have increased patrols in the area. Anyone with information is asked to call Somerville PD at 617-625-1600 or TUPD at 617-627-3030.
