Last Sunday, musicians & owners of The Burren, Tommy McCarthy & Louise Costello, hosted one of a number of musical fundraising events for an Irish charity that is close to their hearts: The St. Patrick’s Mental Health Foundation & their “Walk In My Shoes” campaign (which raises funds for mental health awareness & treatment).

In late 2014, they kicked off their own fundraising campaign “The Trad Tune Challenge” which exploded with challenges from young to seasoned musicians all over the world. In January 2015, they held a very successful fundraising concert in Dublin’s National Concert Hall featuring many of Ireland’s most prominent musicians & raising significant funds for the charity.
