Man Accused Of Setting Fires At Assembly Row

The 34-year-old is charged with setting three fires, which damaged the Partners HealthCare parking garage Tuesday morning.

SOMERVILLE, MA – An arrest has been made in connection with fires that damaged a parking garage at Assembly Row. Aniel Wilson, 34, of Boston, is accused of setting three fires in the Partners HealthCare parking garage, according to reports.

Wilson is charged with burning personal property, vandalizing property, furnishing a false name to police and attempting to burn a car.

Firefighters were called to the garage shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday and found a maintenance utility vehicle on fire in a first-floor storage area, Fire Chief Charles Breen said. Flames were contained in the first-floor storage space.

The fires caused an estimated $400,000-$500,000 in damage, the Somerville Journal reported.
