Man Tried Robbing Somerville Store With Hypodermic Needle: Police

The shop owner told police the suspect pointed a needle filled with dark liquid at her.

SOMERVILLE, MA – Police are searching for a man who tried robbing a local boutique with a hypodermic needle on Monday, Oct. 8. The boutique's owner would not give the man money from the register, but did give him money from her pocket, police said.

The suspect threatened the clerk by pointing a hypodermic needle filled with dark liquid at her before fleeing. He is described as tall with a medium build and light complexion.
