Man Who Allegedly Hit Wheelchair-Bound Elderly Lady Identified As Somerville Resident
The accident left the woman in critical condition.

SOMERVILLE, MA - The Middlesex County District Attorney's office has identified a man wanted in connection with the Sunday morning hit and run of a 77-year-old woman in a wheelchair.
The man, identified only as a Somerville resident, hit the woman at around 4:40 a.m. Sunday in the southbound lane of Columbia Street near Lincoln Street. He then fled north towards Somerville in what was described as "a 1996-1999 green (possibly blue) Ford Taurus."
Authorities had urged anyone with information about the driver's identity or whereabouts to come forward.

No charges have been filed and the investigation is still ongoing. Meanwhile the woman remains in critical condition.
