PHOTOS: What Would the Roche Bros. in Davis Square Look Like?

If Roche Bros. moves forward with plans to build a grocery store at 240 Elm St. in Somerville’s Davis Square and those plans are approved, the store would actually be a “Brothers Marketplace,” according to Somerville Alderman John “Jack” Connolly, who first broke the news.

Brothers Marketplaces, smaller than full Roche Bros., have been built in Weston and Medfield, according to Connolly. He posted the below photos on his Facebook page to give residents a sense of what the store would look like in Davis.

A tentative meeting at the site, the ground level of the Social Security Building at Elm and Chester streets, has been scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Roche Bros. has 18 locations in Massachusetts.
