Prospect Hill Academy THRIVE Fundraiser at the Independent - Saturday, May 16th

Help eliminate hunger at Prospect Hill Academy Charter School and provide meals to students and families in need.

Join us at the Independent Bar and Restaurant in Union Square this Saturday from 2-4pm for an afternoon of fun! Bring along friends, co-workers, family members, neighbors - the more the merrier.

Funds raised at the event will help provide meals to students who do not have regular access to food during weekends and school breaks. Tickets will be sold at the door and will be $10 for individuals and $20 for families.

Visit the THRIVE website to learn more about the program, or make a donation here.

About Prospect Hill Academy Charter School
Prospect Hill Academy (PHA) is a K-12 public charter school serving nearly 1,200 students on three campuses in Somerville and Cambridge. Of these students, 58% are black (the majority of Haitian origin), 19% are Hispanic, 13% are white, 7% are Asian, and 3% are of mixed race. 61% are low-income and 48% come from households where English is not the primary language. PHA doubles our students’ prospects of attending college. 95% of PHA graduates matriculate to four year colleges, the majority being the first in their families to do so.
