David Edwards, Harvard professor, inventor and cofounder of Cafe ArtScience, will briefly describe the historic art and science quest to understand and capture sensorial experience in media. The unique drinks of Cafe ArtScience bartender Todd Maul, combine with the exquisite food of Executive Chef Patrick Campbell, and the delightful pastries of Chef Renae Connelly, to provide an extraordinary food and cocktail experience coordinated with the “oMedia” performance of five classic silent films joined by the narrative of five scents. Between courses Maul, Campbell and Connelly will speak of their sensorial creative process, and Rachel Field, cofounder with David Edwards and Don Zereski of the oMedia Platform, will moderate. Edwards will close with a brief description of the intriguing role of the sensorium in healthy living tomorrow.
