Somerville Man Dies In NH Cannon Mountain Ski Resort Crash
The 39-year-old crashed into a ski lift, was thrown from skis, and collided with a Newburyport man, who was seriously injured.
FRANCONIA, NH — A Somerville man died Friday afternoon in a collision at the Cannon Mountain Ski Resort, New Hampshire State Police said. Another man was seriously injured after being struck by the Somerville man, who had been thrown from his skis.
The man who died was identified Saturday at 39-year-old Jeremy Keiran. He was skiing when he lost control, crashed into a ski lift, and was thrown from his skis. He continued sliding off a 10-foot embankment and struck Robert Slocum, 48, of Newburyport.
Slocum was brought to the hospital with serious injuries that were not life-threatening.

Keiran was skiing down Profile Trail at the time he lost control. Profile Trail is for advanced skiers, according to Cannon Mountain's website.
The incident is being investigated.
