Space, Object & Art opens Thursday, 8/6, at the Nave Gallery in Teele Square
What do the spaces we occupy and belongings we possess reveal about us? How can personal objects and places elicit emotional responses from those unfamiliar with them?
Through observation, cataloging of space, reconstruction of object and artifact, and reflections of memory the work of Kate Benson, Carolyn Latourelle & Emily Manning-Mingle each weaves a distinct personal narrative while hoping to form a bridge to a collective experience for viewers.
