From the director:
“These days, many of us live day to day unaware of the realities of war, curating our news consumption the same as our entertainment. My hope is that performing in the cemetery will viscerally transport our audience and allow them to directly channel the history that weighs on the Americans in this story. In an effort to increase accessibility (and ensure against bad weather) we’re pleased to also offer our play at the Davis Square Theatre.”
From the playwright:
“The play is inspired by authors like Tennessee Williams and Horton Foote. It’s realism, a bit of magic realism, and comedy.”
