Services Planned for Ken and Jane Young

Obituary via Giragosian Funeral Home:

Kenneth A. & Jane West Young of Sudbury died unexpectedly on May 4, 2015 while vacationing in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands with their son.

Ken & Jane were both longtime residents of Sudbury and were active in their community. Jane was an accomplished teacher with over 40 years teaching experience. She spent the last 17 years teaching math at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School until her recent retirement in January.

They leave behind their children, Beth & Brian Young. Ken leaves behind his siblings, Robert A. and his wife Nancy Young of Falmouth, Gwendolen Young Devoe and her late husband Col. John Brooks Devoe of Greenland, NH, Joyce E. Young of Montreal, Canada and Priscilla and her husband Stew Bouchard of Stowe, Vermont. Jane leaves behind her brother Arthur K. West and sister-in-law Ellen B. West of Seattle, Washington.

They are also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School Auditorium, 390 Lincoln Rd., Sudbury on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. It is requested that those attending the Memorial Service arrive at the school no earlier than 3:15 p.m. so the school day is not disrupted.
