Wakefield Lynnfield Chamber of Commerce Sponsors Inaugural Restaurant Week, March 2nd through 8th

The Wakefield Lynnfield Chamber of Commerce will sponsor its first Wakefield Restaurant Week, which will run from Monday, March 2nd to Sunday, March 8th, 2015. Restaurant Week will provide the opportunity for local establishments to showcase their menus and introduce new culinary choices at prices that will attract existing and new customers who wish to explore the local dining scene. Participation in Restaurant Week is open to all Wakefield eating establishments. Diners are encouraged to watch for breakfast, lunch, dinner, bakery and other food-related promotions throughout the week. “I am thrilled to support the Wakefield Lynnfield Chamber of Commerce in its inaugural Restaurant Week,” Town Administrator Steve Maio said. “It is the perfect opportunity to highlight an important industry in Wakefield and allow our residents and guests to partake in the variety of our first class eating establishments.” The Wakefield Lynnfield Chamber has invited all Wakefield restaurants to participate. To give back to the community, the Chamber has suggested that each participating restaurant donate a portion of their proceeds during Restaurant Week to its scholarship through The Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield. Several dining establishments, including Lakeside Tavern at the Clarion Inn, Phu Ket, Dockside, Sakura Organic, Massimo Ristorante, Harrington’s, Sabatino’s Restaurant, Porto Bello Ristorante, and North Ave Diner have already agreed to participate. A list of participating restaurants and their promotions will be added to the Chamber website, www.wakefieldlynnfieldchamber.org, as they are added. Diners are encouraged to check back regularly for details. Local restaurants that wish to participate in Restaurant Week can contact Chamber Executive Director Marianne Cohen at (781) 245-0741 for additional information.
