Waltham Fire On Cooper Street: Nominate A Hero
Know someone who helped others in the Cooper Street Fire? The Waltham City Council wants to recognize them.

WALTHAM, MA — The Waltham City Council wants to acknowledge individuals and groups that provided assistance during the Cooper Street Fire last month.
The fire caused an estimated $110 million in damage and displaced hundreds in the early morning hours as neighboring apartment buildings, including two senior housing complexes had to be evacuated.
The 10-alarm Waltham fire that destroyed five buildings under construction on Cooper Street was set on purpose, said fire officials at an afternoon press conference earlier this month. Officials are offering up to $100,000 to help find the person or persons responsible for starting it.
