Season Finale Takes Place at Target Fields
The Saturday festivities include two games and a cookout.

On Saturday, June 16, Westborough Little League presents the championship game for the 2012 Major League season. Festivities include a pre-game featuring the graduating 12-year-old players and a cookout, all open to the public at the .
The championship league game starts at 7 p.m. and features the Shell and Percy’s teams. If Percy’s wins the Saturday competition, the team takes the championship trophy. If Shell wins, the series extends to a final game on Sunday, June 17 at 4 p.m.

The Little League program ends for players who are 12-years-old. A final game for graduate players is planned for 4 p.m. on Saturday. A trophy presentation for the players will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Otey Field. Following the game, a cookout with hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza is planned for all who attend.
At 6:30 p.m., there will be a ceremony to close out the season. Organizers said that there are special guests scheduled to appear for the crowd.
