is offering a Let’s Make Bullying a Thing of the Past, a free workshop for youth coaches. The seminar will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Forbes Municipal Building, 45 West Main St.

The program features Coach Fred Jewett, director of the Think Respect Project. Jewett coached for over 30 years and is a regular presenter at the MIAA captains and coaches workshops. The focus of his presentation will be understanding bullying and learning how to create an atmosphere where respect and unselfish teamwork are the norm.
Information will be presented to help coaches recognize the signs of bullying, learn the difference between conflict and bullying and understand what respectful behavior entails.
