WHS Grad Scores Big in Women's Rowing at Ohio State

Samantha Fowle of Westborough, a member of the Ohio State Women’s Rowing Team, earned a silver medal in the 2012 NCAA Division I Rowing Championships in West Windsor, NJ on May 27. She was also named to the 2012 Academic All Big Ten.

The Ohio State team placed fifth overall, propelled by a gold showing by the First Varsity Four and a silver for the Second Varsity Eight. Fowle’s team, the Second Varsity Eight, was undefeated during its regular season, missing the NCAA title by just 1.9 seconds.
